Dave Dietz, Owner & President - Dave has a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture and a Master's Degree in Agricultural Education from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Dave has been in the landscaping business for 32 years, but started working in the nursery business at a local nursery at age 12. He also taught horticulture classes for 16 years at Upper Valley Joint Vocational School and Kiser from 1975 to 1990. He is also an Ohio Certified Nursery Technician. A hobby of Dave's is growing cut-your-own Christmas trees and he has been offering them for sale, via Evergreen Acres, for the last 16 years. He also enjoys growing his own nursery crops, such as Boxwood, Daylilies, and Hostas among others, and uses those in his landscaping jobs.
Mark Dietz, Foreman - Mark has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD) in Columbus, Ohio. He is also an Ohio Certified Nursery Technician. He began working with his father in the landscaping business at age 9 and worked through high school. He worked part-time for a landscaping firm in Columbus while in college. He came back to the business full-time after graduation from CCAD. Mark utilizes his Fine Arts degree in paver patio, walk and landscape design, which have become his specialties.
Scott Dietz, Foreman - Scott is an Ohio Certified Nursery Technician as well. He began working on the farm driving tractors and has worked with his father in the family business for as long as he can remember. He began full-time with the company upon his graduation from high school but has over 14 years of practical landscaping experience. Scott's expertise falls into the area of technical problem solving, such as the more difficult landscape and hardscape designs, irrigation, drainage. Resolving problem situations is Scott's specialty.
